Candles & Conversations for a Purpose

1 April, 2021 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

25 votive candles burning with the LGBTIQ, Aboriginal, Torres Strait Island and Australian flags hanging behind them.

Domestic Violence Action Centre has partnered with several Ipswich Creatives who will be providing a series of candle making workshops throughout April.  At these workshops you will not only learn how to make your own candle, but you also can join a conversation about how we can all play a role to end family and domestic violence.  Workshops are designed to be creative, casual, conversational and a little bit of educational but most of all a lot of fun.

Once you have made your candle, we hope you might want to bring it with you and join us for the Remembrance Day Candle vigil and march on May 5th.    More details on how to book into a workshop coming soon.
